Biography

Born In 2nd January, 1935 Vill: Tetulia, Police Station: Tala, Dist: Satkhira, Bangladesh

1952- 2004 : Participated in over hundred National and International exhibition in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Italy, France, Malaysian, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany - (GDR & FRG), Egypt, Zimbabwe, U.S.A and Maldives. Professional Experience
1962 : Planned, designed and fabricated the first ever mobile industrial exhibition on wheels in Pakistan
1959-1974 : Planned, designed and fabricated a number of Pavilions and Floats in the National and International Industrial Fairs
1964-1971 : Established a Commercial Art Gallery, “Galerie Co-op” in Rawalpindi, Pakistan
1966-71 : instructor in painting at the Pakistan arts Council, Rawalpindi, Pakistan
1981-1991 : As Member Secretary, organized 5 International Art Exhibitions “ Asian Art Biennale, Bangladesh” in Dhaka.
1977-1991 : Worked as Director, Department of Fine Arts, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Dhaka.
